Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an English Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will teach English through learning programmes for students of different ages and language levels, working at the Oxford School language centre in Seregno (MB) as well as at external locations, including companies and educational institutions.

The role therefore requires availability to travel within the local area and access to a car.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group English language courses for young people and adults.
• Deliver individual and group English language courses at client companies.
• Deliver group English language courses in schools.
• Plan and prepare lessons according to students’ learning objectives and needs.
• Monitor students’ progress and adapt teaching methodologies to different learning needs.
• Collaborate with the Academic Coordination Team and teaching staff to ensure high-quality teaching standards.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

• Native English speaker or certified English proficiency at a minimum C1 level according to the CEFR.
• Applications from candidates who are fully bilingual in Italian and English will also be positively considered.
• English language teaching qualification (CELTA, DELTA, TEFL or equivalent).
• Previous experience, even if limited, teaching English to children, young people and adults.
• Availability to teach at different locations.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Terms and Benefits

• Permanent, full-time contract (annual workload: 1,196 hours).
• Level 5 – Area II under the ANINSEI National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL).

• Salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skills (indicative gross annual salary: €21,000–€25,000).
